US bare root rose shipping windows by state
|
|
When to expect shipment
This map gives a regional guide to our shipping schedule. We normally start our bare root roses shipment in mid January and finish in May. As we are sending live plants, actual dates are subject to change according to seasonal weather variations in your local area or in ours.
We will advise you of the approximate shipping date when we acknowledge your order. If you wish to receive your roses during a certain period, please note this on your order.
|
When to place your order
We always welcome early orders, as stock of some varieties is limited. This is particularly important for gardeners in the South and Eastern coastal regions due to their early shipping windows. Gardeners in more Northern regions should aim to place their orders before their shipping window as this will help us to process and ship their roses. We are happy to accept orders until the last realistic planting date for your area.
We will be accepting Canadian orders up until the end of March, with the aim to ship bare root roses to Canada in April, subject to weather conditions.
Our guarantee
Roses shipped in the recommended shipping window are covered by our 12 month guarantee. It is possible to establish roses outside their normal shipping dates, but this is highly dependent on the customer’s close attention to watering their young roses and protecting the stems from the heat of the sun until they are fully established. For this reason, orders placed for shipment more than one week outside the recommended shipping dates are guaranteed to arrive in good condition but will not be covered by our 12 month guarantee.

The following is an approximate guide to shipping zones by state, using the actual times of shipping during our last bare root season. Shipping windows are subject to change depending on the actual weather conditions experienced each Spring.
Where the name of the state is followed by a series of numbers, these refer to the first three numbers of the zip code.
