| About Juliet Garden Roses |
|
Juliet (Ausjameson) was one of the first of David Austin's cut roses to be released in the UK in 2005 after a breeding program stretching over a decade and costing more than $5 million.
Choose Juliet for the large, elegant flower heads, for its sophisticated color and the spectacularly beautiful cupped rosette form. The blooms have an exquisite old rose form combined with a contemporary color which was not found in antique roses and is still rare and very highly prized today. Due to the natural variation characteristic of David Austin cut roses, an attractive hint of blush pink often appears, particularly as the bloom ages. The soft, peachy shades of Juliet combine well with other pastel colors, creating a feeling of warmth and romance. The blooms are beautiful at all stages as they gradually open from deep cups to rosettes. When fully open, many neatly-arranged petals are revealed, nestling in folds within the heart of the bloom. Juliet has always been one of the most popular of our cut roses. It is sensational as a gift bouquet or when used to create arrangements for the home. This utterly romantic rose has a timeless appeal and so can be incorporated successfully in traditional and contemporary themes. Pictured on the left: Juliet is used in a sensational tower of roses created by a leading English floral designer, Claire Cowling. This was one of four oversized arrangements donated by David Austin to decorate a UK charity auction.
