We are all delighted to return to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year and are honoured to have been awarded with our 26th Gold Medal for our Secret Garden display.

After a 2 year break, the team at David Austin have been working tirelessly to create a truly standout display of fragrant English Roses. There was a buzz of excitement, not only from our team on the stand, but also from our many visitors, enthralled by the colour and fragrance on display. The highly anticipated new UK varieties, Elizabeth (Ausmajesty) and Bring Me Sunshine (Ausernie) took centre stage within the David Austin Secret Garden and were seen in bloom for the very first time. Their scent, Elizabeth with her strong, sweet Old Rose fragrance and Bring Me Sunshine, brimming with medium-strong myrrh, delighted visitors as they entered what one guest said to be 'the best place to be'.

A number of well-known faces adorned the Secret Garden including Dame Joan Collins, Amanda Holden accompanied by her mother, Nigel Slater, Tom Allen, Gemma Collins and Angela Rippon, who all delighted in the striking mixture of fragrances and the swathes of colour. Being awarded with our 26th Gold Medal at Chelsea Flower Show 2022 was the pinnacle and a true testament to the hard work our team have dedicated to creating another remarkable display. We are already looking forward to 2023.
