Floribunda roses were originally produced by crossing Hybrid Teas with Polyantha Roses. They are prized for creating a mass of color by bearing many flowers held in large clusters – in fact, few plants can produce so much color over such a long season. Floribundas usually have little scent, although more fragrant varieties are now appearing. Ideal for growing in large bed and mixed borders; they are generally hardy, more robust and more disease resistant than Hybrid Tea Roses and are therefore easier to grow. Read less
